Vancouver BC

Went to Vancouver BC last week to work and visit with my Aunt. We had a nice trip. On one day we went to the Vancouver Aquarium. It is a great aquarium with lots of exhibits and shows. The kids loved it. My cousin came with her two children so it was fun for them as well as us.

Fire on the mountain

There was a large brush fire about 3 miles from our home. 8 miles on the roads. I was working away and heard sirens going for quite a while. A friend called and asked about the fire and their home. I went down the road to see if their home was ok. All is well, but there was lots of action. Air Tankers, Spotting Plane, Helicopters, lots of Fire Trucks, bull dozers, and many other Cal Fire vehicles.

Happy Mother's Day

We went for a drive south to Amador county to visit Andrae's Bakery in Amador City for breakfast and then we went over to Sutter Creek to visit some of the shops. We had a nice Mother's Day.




I think my mother even had a good time...
